T.Y Update

Our Mid-Term break flew by and its now time to get back to work. I used the week to catch up with project work and to relax. This week we are busy preparing for work experience, which is next week. I will be going to St Anne’s National School in Ardclough for the week. On Friday all of TY will have a workshop to tell us what to expect during work experience and tell us what to do if we encounter any problems. I'm really looking forward to work experience as I’m going to my old primary school, but it will be a little awkward to see my old teachers. On Thursday of this week two people are coming to help us with our plays for English. It will be great to see the other group's play and the day will be good fun.

Geography Project

This year in Geography we are doing a virtual trip around the world. We have to pick two countries to visit and write a factfile and give a powerpoint presentation to our class about them. The countries I'm doing are The Philippines and Canada. So far I've got the most info about The Philippines. The Chocolate Hills are a famous tourist attration in The Philippines. They are hills made of grass covered limestone that turn brown in the dry season, making them look like hills of chocolate.
